Robert B. Parker's Bull River (Virgil Cole & Everett Hitch, #6)Robert B. Parker's Bull River by Robert Knott
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I won a copy of this book thru the Goodreads First Reads giveaways. This was the first book I read that was western and I really enjoyed it. I felt like I was watching a western movie. Going to have to add another new series to my must read list. The story kept me entertained from the first page to the last.

Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker: A NovelMrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker: A Novel by Jennifer Chiaverini
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

As a history major, I generally enjoy books about history, but I found this one hard to get thru. It was slow and dry for a majority of the book. It was interesting to read about background on Mrs. Lincoln, but it read more like a non-fiction book. It took me almost a month to finish it because I just found it so boring.

Fin & Lady: A NovelFin & Lady: A Novel by Cathleen Schine
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was a cute book to read. Great characters, and the story was well developed. What I got out of this book was : You never know what life is going to throw at you, but you can survive it.

The Private School Murders (Confessions, #2)The Private School Murders by James Patterson
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book was just as good as the first book in the series. Multiple cases combined into one good story. Typical James Patterson book.

Loved this book! James Patterson does it again. Great plot line and never guessed who the killer was until it was finally revealed.

The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1)The Maze Runner by James Dashner
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I don't normally read a lot of science fiction books, but this by far is one of the best ones I have read in this genre. The story had me hooked from the first chapter and I was entertained until the last page. Can't wait to read the next book.
